Zünd demonstrates innovations through collaboration.

Zünd demonstrated its innovations through collaboration with well-known industry suppliers such as HP, Kornit, and Dover Digital Printing.

Solutions from Zünd were displayed in various locations at FESPA, including the Digital Corrugated Experience Zone, and at several partner booths.

HP

With the HP Latex R Series, HP introduced a new generation of latex printers capable of printing both flexible and rigid substrates.

For the cutting/finishing component, HP collaborated with Zünd and had an S3 M-800 on display that could process a wide array of different types of materials.

Dover Digital Printing

At the Dover Digital Printing booth, visitors witnessed an integrated digital production workflow in action in an exhibit, visualising each step in the making of athletic shirts – from design to print, to cutting performed on a Zünd S3 L-1600 with cradle feeder, all the way to the finished jersey. The cradle feeder advances stretch fabrics frequently used for athletic wear onto the cutting system in a tension- and wrinkle-free process.

Kornit Digital

Another cutter showcasing Zünd productivity was at the Kornit Digital booth.

Kornit Digital offers digital textile printing solutions for garments and home furnishings with systems ranging from entry-level to mass-production and high-speed, roll-to-roll printers.

For efficient, reliable cutting/processing of different types of fabrics, the Kornit booth features the highly advanced and versatile S3-1200 cutting system.

In the demo/education area at the Digital Corrugated Experience, Fespa attendees could learn all about the advantages of digital cutting of packaging and retail displays made from corrugated cardboard.

In this area, too, Zünd was featured as a market-leading solutions provider. The Trends Theatre was devoted to presentations on various production processes in digital textile and package printing, advertising and promotional products as well as industrial and decorative print.

Upcoming FESPA events include FESPA Africa, the region’s largest, focused exhibition for wide format digital printing, screen printing, garment decoration and textile printing, which is co-located with Sign Africa and Africa Print, the region’s leading events for the signage industry. The event is taking place from 12-14 September 2018 at Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg.
