At the show’s Digital Textile Printing Zone, X-Rite Technical Support Specialist Bruce Wright gave free presentations. The presentation titled ‘techniques and tips for colour measurement of specialty materials’. This presentation gave best practices on how companies can fully utilise the colour measurement tools they have to manage variations across substrates, what challenges they may face in obtaining accurate measurements on specialty materials, and ways they can optimise colour results.
X-rite Pantone representatives demonstrated the company’s award winning i1Publish Pro 2 package that provides customers the ability to profile various devices and bring consistency across disparate solvent ink printers. X-rite demonstrated its exact spectrophotometer platform that helps businesses using wide-format applications to measure spot colours and make decisions prior to full production, reducing costs in media.
