Wired4Signs has launched a new rigid module bar that has been specifically designed for indoor slim-line single sided light boxes. The company has previously been unable to offer a solution for light boxes that have a return of 40mm. Now, with this module, it can offer a viable and economical solution.
This light source gives no hot spots due to the lens being optically designed to spread the light. Even the most efficient light sources would be rendered useless without high-quality optics. These modules save a considerable amount of installation time compared to the traditional backlit LED Modules as there are fewer components to install and they have push-in wire connectors at each end.
Wired4Signs currently stocks two sizes: a 500mm and a 250mm rigid bar.
When testing these units, the company managed to successfully illuminate a 38mm deep light box that had a stretched fabric face. The rigid bars were spaced 190mm apart in a light box that measures 590 x 840mm and has a depth of only 38mm. A total of 4 x 500mm rigid bars were used in this test.
Wired4Signs has also found that these modules work extremely well in larger displays as they have a very high light output: the 500mm bar has an output of 1100 Lumens.
