754

Wired4Signs will showcase a wide range of products at the upcoming Sign Africa Cape Town expo, which runs from 15-16 March at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

Solutions being displayed include:

AB200

A clear two part glue which is renowned for its versatility and can bond a wide variety of substrates to plastic, without the need for surface primers or conditioners. Typical examples of applications include bonding polycarbonate letters in the sign industry, repairing polycarbonate headlights, bonding outdoor lighting lenses and fixtures, and assembling electric meter housings and covers.

Snapfix Letter Fixing Stand Offs

These are used for fixing fabricated or flat acrylic letters to a surface. A socket is secured to the surface using a round head screw. The studs are then bonded to the letters with the correct adhesive. Then, the letter is simply fixed to the surface using the sockets. Depending on the size of the Snapfix fasteners chosen, the letters are placed with a stand-off of up to 25mm from the backdrop surface. For a subtler appearance, smaller fasteners, which allow for a 15mm stand-off, are also available.

Sika products

These can be used for signage manufacture (bonding perspex to aluminium and ACM (aluminium composite materials) and other industries such as:
– Marine (structural bonding and sealing below water-line, UV exposed areas, deck to hull, teak deck bonding and caulking).
– Automotive (car windscreens, panel bonding, bus manufacture, truck trailers, aluminium trailers).
– Construction (Waterproofing, Glass Glazing and Bonding, Wooden Deck Bonding).
– Refrigeration (refrigerated rooms and trucks).
– Engineering (bonding stainless steel, galvanised steel and aluminium sheets).

Tridonic Agilight products

These have a broad and consistent colour spectrum, high efficiency, long life and unbeatable economy. Typical specifications include a five year warranty, double insulation and European EMC standard for lighting compliant, with a water proof and non-water proof range.

Aluminium profiles

Their construction provides substantial heat-management, essential to ensure the performance and longevity of high-powered lighting.

Also being showcased are wide angle LED modules, used for all halo and back-lit applications; LED strip lighting, used for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications; and a range of Meanwell products.
