At Viscom frankfurt 2014, which will be held from 5-7 November 2014 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre, exhibitors will present their innovations, new products and production improvers, which will compete for the Viscom Best of 2014 Award.
Products can be entered for the Viscom Best of 2014 Award in the following five categories: Signmaking, Large Format Printing (LFP), Light advertising, Textile Finishing and Software. A maximum of three prizes may be awarded in each category. The deadline for applications is 31 August 2014.
A series of cutting plotters offering varied functionalities, the first white Latex ink or a material that always stays crease-free even under the toughest conditions: those were three out of a total of eight winning products of the Viscom Best of 2013 Award.
All entries will be tested for a range of criteria by a jury of experts. They must have reached marketability and be capable of being realised taking economic, design and environmental aspects into account. Potential users must also be assured of a noticeable added value compared to that offered by current solutions, machines or media.
The entries will be assessed and judged by a jury consisting of representatives of specialist journals and trade associations.
The winners will be announced to the public and the press on 5 November 2014 during Viscom night. The prize also comes with a display at the respective stand drawing attention to the Viscom Best of 2014 Award winner.
