This week’s wrap features a fleet of law enforcement vehicles, wrapped by Western Cape based Autacs Signs.
Four Isuzu bakkies (2021 models) were wrapped in blue and yellow Nikkalite engineered grade vinyl class 1 material. Contra Vision one-way vision material was applied to the windows.
The company’s managing director, Guy van Greunen, explained that Nikkalite reflective vinyl is a glass-beaded plastic material that improves visibility and safety in low light conditions: ‘It’s designed for use on traffic signs or decals for traffic vehicles, and is resistant to hot, cold, dry and humid weather conditions. In South Africa, and especially in the Western Cape, we have a lot of hot, cold and dry weather, so this vinyl works perfectly in our conditions.’
He added that while the project was labour intensive, taking about one day per vehicle, sometimes a bit more, all four vehicles were done within a week.
