Metamark wrapping was used in a van project to create impactful and distinctive advertising.
ADS Windows Doors and Conservatories Ltd, recently approached RC Graphix Ltd to create a bespoke livery for a recently acquired van and, being satisfied with the first that RC Graphix Ltd had provided some years earlier, was keen to get another.
The customer wanted to update their new van to showcase the latest designs of composite doors available. Using the customer’s established logo and assets, the RC Graphix team developed a design featuring some very good-looking product shots and some dramatic treatment of the company’s logo rendered in contrasting fields of colour. The overall design is impactful and very distinctive, it makes a great advertisement for the customer whether static on-site or on the road.
The job’s production makes use of the Metamark materials available. The flat panel work is covered in a printed assembly of Metamark MD5A-105 Clear protected with its matching clear laminate. This product was specifically selected as the design features grey stripes that fade through to white and some white curves which separate the photos from the logos on the side panels. By using this product instead of a typical white media, it allows the white paintwork of the van to feature where required and eliminates the need to introduce another white, making the end result seamless. RC Graphix Ltd always strive to deliver a quality finished product and this project is no exception.
Where the vehicle’s body work required a conformable material, MetaCast® MDC, Metamark’s premium cast digital wrapping film, got the job done. The print results look sensational with the logo in particular contrasting with the field of solid printed blue it sits within. The printing really does the premium quality film justice and proves that the RC Graphix team knows how to get the best from its Roland wide format hardware too.
