Upgraded Web-To-Print Solution Enhances Product Personalisation

Design’N’Buy’s V3.3.4. software includes improvements to enhance the product personalisation experience for print buyers on both desktop and mobile devices.

For example, while designing an artwork in design studio, a user can now move objects with keyboard arrow keys, do inline editing of text using double clicking the text object or with the edit button etc.

For enhancing the wide format support, the company has now introduced support for calculation of the weight of the product based on the square unit area of the product (user specified height and width). Admin can now setup the per square unit weight of the product in product settings.

In addition to that, admin can also create custom options (e.g. lamination or coating etc.) whose weight applies in addition to product weight per square unit ordered. This would help the system to auto-calculate the final weight of the deliverable to calculate its shipping cost.

In an effort to make the design studio compatible for commercial printing, the company has now introduced multi-style text paragraph support with rich text editor. This feature makes it easy to design and create text intensive printing products like brochures, menus and magazines, etc.

A user can add a paragraph of text with support to choose any content within the paragraph and change font type, font colour, text alignment in text area, special characters, bold/italics as well as pre-formatted texts like headings and body text. Users can also re-size the text paragraph using resize handles to fit the design.
