Tulip Inks showcased its sublimation and eco-solvent digital inks and equipment at the recent Sign Africa and FESPA Africa expo, held at Gallagher Convention Centre from 11-13 September.
Also on display was an Ultra 64/size A2 model from the company’s Lynx Ultra series of advanced UV digital printers. The series is renowned for printing on a range of different surfaces including, glass, wood, ceramic, slate, acrylics, metals, plastics and more. Prints include those of embossed, textured, varnish, spot varnish and special effects. It can print with white ink, varnish and primer, as well as on objects up to 150mm thick and 20kg in weight.
Other features include automatic substrate thickness sensing, long life dual UV lamps, Topaz software RIP and floor stand with rollers and levelling included. It can also be used in packaging, namely for mock-ups and prototypes.
