Twenty-five years ago, Trotec was founded as a high-tech subsidiary of the renowned stamp manufacturer Trodat in Wels, Upper Austria. Under the leadership of Andreas Penz, the young company with start-up character quickly developed into a technology leader in laser machines for engraving, marking and cutting.
‘Our goal is to make our customers’ work easier, faster and more profitable. To achieve this, we do our best and continuously set new standards. Our customers should have a decisive advantage through our machines and solutions,’ explained Andreas Penz, managing director with the company since 1997.
Over the years, Trotec has developed a whole fleet of innovative and powerful laser systems: Stand-alone machines as well as integrated solutions for a wide variety of applications serve, among others, sign makers and engravers, architectural model makers, schools and universities, and large industrial companies with marking and cutting needs. With the introduction of the unique laser software Ruby® in 2021 Trotec revolutionised the laser industry once again.
