Roland DG South Africa Lists Tips For Doming

Roland DG South Africa has useful tips for users to get the best experience out of doming.

• Keep the resin cool, clean and dry. Resin is hydrophobic and hates moisture.
• Always dome in a temperature controlled environment.
• Keep the area clean so no dust settles on the print, which might cause impurities in the dome.
• Always let the print cure before doming.
• Leave the print out to dry/cure for a minimum of 24 hours to ensure a clean decal with no ink spread or bleeding of colours.
• Spills? Sprinkle Bicarbonate of Soda onto the messed resin. It will make for easy clean up.
• Design artwork with radius corners, this will raise the height of the dome and assist in preventing overflow.
