SwissQprint has announced that the buyer of its 2000th machine worldwide, a Nyala model, is an American adtech company. Not only is this the most popular model in the swissQprint range, it is also Europe’s best-selling large format printer in its class – and has been for nine years in a row.
‘We have sold our 2000th printer, a significant milestone in swissQprint’s 17-year history,’ enthused CEO Kilian Hintermann. This particular printer is going to America, destined for SuperGraphics in Seattle.
‘SwissQprint won us over by combining the strength of the highest quality flatbed press on the planet with high efficiency production output, and it is an honour for SuperGraphics to be taking delivery of the 2000th swissQprint machine,’ said Reid Baker, CEO of the established advertising technology company.
‘We warmly welcome superGraphics to the swissQprint family,’ said Hintermann, adding, ‘North America is an important growth market for us.’ The global community includes over 1500 companies in some 40 countries around the world. Out of the installed base of nearly 2000 printers, over 400 are more than 10 years old and still in daily use – a testament to the machines’ longevity.
SwissQprint has always developed and built its products 100% at its Swiss headquarters, giving the company end-to-end control over the process. ‘Thus, we can guarantee what swissQprint is reputed for, namely innovative strength, precision, quality and reliability,’ explained Hintermann.
SwissQprint described the model’s success as being based on its combination of high print quality, multifunctionality and efficiency. Carmen Eicher, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at swissQprint, said, ‘We are delighted that the 2000th machine is a Nyala. We are also very pleased that this best-selling model has gained us superGraphics as another new US customer.’
