StandOut Prints’ Summa S Class 3 T160 vinyl cutter has been running practically non-stop, significantly increasing the company’s production capacity. The combination of unmatched precision and speed is the key reason the team is so satisfied with this investment.
StandOut Prints was founded in 2021 by Kasper De Cock as a side business during the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as a one-man operation has since grown into a successful partnership with three associates. StandOut Prints is the go-to source for visual communication, offering a wide range of products, from textile personaliSation and sticker work to custom gadgets. The company manufactures textiles and stickers entirely in-house, while collaborating with a selected group of subcontractors for other components.
From the beginning, De Cock was convinced of the quality of Summa’s vinyl cutters. ‘When I discovered that Summa is also a Belgian brand, the choice became even easier,’ De Cock said. The machines’ durability and the precision of the tangential cutting head immediately caught his attention.
Before switching to Summa, StandOut Prints used a printer with an integrated cutter, but it quickly became apparent that the machine was too slow and inefficient for the company’s growing workload.
In 2022, the company invested in the Summa S2 T75, a compact yet reliable premium cutter. When the demand for higher production increased in 2024, Kasper chose the Summa S3 T160, the newer and larger version of the S Class 2.
Since transitioning to the Summa S3 T160, production at StandOut Prints has grown exponentially. ‘This machine is practically indispensable in our production. It has also significantly increased our output,’ De Cock explained.
With a production capacity of 100,000 stickers per month and projects like delivering 45,000 stickers for the Alcatraz metal festival and delivering stickers for containers at the Port of Antwerp, the Summa S Class 3 has proven its worth.
De Cock’s clients especially appreciate the machine’s speed combined with high precision, which enables the company to handle even last-minute orders quickly and flawlessly. ‘The machine hasn’t stopped running since we got it,’ De Cock added. Thanks to its speed in reading markings, long jobs can be completed more efficiently, ‘The S Class 3 is clearly much faster, especially in reading markers, which makes a big difference on long jobs.’
De Cock has ambitious plans for the future. He hopes to eventually upgrade to a flatbed cutting table from Summa’s F-series, which he believes would be perfect for bulk sticker orders and custom POS items. This added versatility would allow the company to offer even more complete solutions to their customers.
For StandOut Prints, the partnership with Summa has been a key factor in its success. Since switching to the latest S Class 3 vinyl cutter, the company has experienced significant growth in both production capacity and customer satisfaction. The speed, precision and reliability of Summa’s cutting machines make them indispensable to the business.
