Sign-Tronic exhibited the swissQprint Karibu, which has awesome new features. Visitors could see the machine cutting both roll to roll and flat sheets at lightning speed at the Sign Africa Durban expo, held from 11-12 March at the Durban ICC.

There was also a live demonstration of automatic sewing of fabric. And visitors could experience the award-winning 3D letter printer using outdoor durable materials. Additionally, the company showcased products manufactured in South Africa, such as inks and fabrics. These fabrics can be recycled – helping users reduce their carbon footprint.

Owner Adrian Wolman said, ‘We offer excellent service, supported with 40 years of production expertise. We sell profitable solutions, not just machines.’

The images below show the ability to print out of CMYK, with two new spot colours: a new red and orange ink that are vibrant and match most dye sublimation colours. Sign-Tronic displayed this capability at the expo.

Additionally, the company showcased its Ultimate Matic Banner Finishing Machine. The M1 line of cutting machines offers the best combination of speed and precision. The variable cutting speeds deliver optimal results and adapats to each different fabric. The 2 press bars eliminates any movement of the textile during the cutting process. Its design, construction and ease of use make the Matic M1 line of cutters one of the best selling machines on the market.
