Sign-Tronic exhibited the Océ Arizona 318 GL with the new tilted position setting, that enables customers to fit the Océ through any standard door frame. The company also showcased the new Sign-Tronic White ink used for second service printing (reverse printing), at the Sign Africa Durban expo (Durban ICC, 18-19 March 2015).

The Arizona 318 GL is a flatbed printer that offers smaller print producers entry into the world of award-winning, high-quality UV flatbed printing. It delivers quality printing on the same robust platform as the Océ Arizona 360 GT printer, at a price positioned for light production environments. This attractive price point makes it accessible to print shops and sign makers with lower volume demands, while still delivering all the quality and versatility built into every Océ Arizona Series printer.

Adrian Wolman, Sign-Tronic said, 'I have had so much success at the Sign Africa Durban Expo. There have been three or four sales that have come through from people that know exactly what they want. The industry seems to have turned around in Durban. Our Tilt and go solution we have developed for the Océ has been well received.'

The new Sign-Tronic UV-S White Ink can be used for second service printing, also known as reverse printing, see video on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoW9wJPO8Mw&feature=youtu.be

UV-S White ink has no cracking or colour-distortion when stretched (deep draws for both vacuum-forming plastics as well as metal-forming). It allows printing to take place before forming, making it far more cost-effective than traditional techniques.

It can print on many different surfaces (metal, glass, ABS, perspex, PETG, extruded acrylic, wood, flexible material, paper, other synthetic material and car wraps). The ink does not display finger marks when printing on the material supplied. It is non-hazardous with a reduced smell and produces an excellent colour gamut.
