SIGN-A-RAMA Midrand has purchased a 3D aluminium fabricator machine, a first for the SIGN-A-RAMA brand in Southern Africa. It has taken over 12 months of planning for the machine to arrive in SA and makes SIGN-A-RAMA Midrand one of very few businesses in Southern Africa to now offer aluminium machine fabricated letters and logos.
The machine, developed in the USA, was installed last week in Midrand by a team of specialists. The increased product range with improved turnaround times has already met with approval from many of the countries leading brands.
Joshua Jonker, one of the directors of SIGN-A-RAMA Midrand, is very proud of the latest company acquisition. ‘It is incredible to think that we only started 10 years ago’, he said. From very humble beginnings, using a simple vinyl cutting machine, this branch has grown to incorporate every type of signage product. He said that the philosophy set by the partners some years ago, to be among the best in the industry by offering a fast, effective service-orientated product, has lead to this exciting development.
Aluminium fabricated 3D letters or logos are easy to mount as they are light and can be attached to any surface. They can also be installed illuminated with neon or LED with many different lighting effects available. Easy to produce, the letters and logos can also have a perspex face which can also be illuminated if required.
