Sheetco showcased the Gbos GH1610-AT-SCCD laser cutting system at the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, which took place at Gallagher Convention Centre from 13-15 September.
The double laser cutting system greatly improves efficiency and labour costs. It features an automatic feeding system for an array of different materials, like knitted fabric, cotton, shoes, garments, cloth, leather, foam and more. The precise SCCD camera captures pattern outlines for multiple pattern cutting of printed fabric. Various models with a processing area of up to 1800mm x 1200mm are available. A cut-only version without the camera is also available.
The company also exhibited the Avanti A180, a CMYK printer with fluorescent inks, featuring four spot colours: pink, blue, green and yellow.
Also shown for the first time was the Avanti CP-180 with sticky belt function for printing directly onto cotton.
The new Monti Antonio 180T, with groundbreaking new design, was also exhibited. This heatpress allows entry level customers in the banner and flag industry as well as sportswear to have Monti quality in a versatile calender for continuous transfer printing on cut pieces and roll-fed fabrics.
