Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Expo 2013 which took place in Orlando, FL. honoured the Eastern Tech Company with the Product of the Year award, in the Direct-To-Garment (DTG) Inkjet Garment Printer category.
Eastern Tech is a custom ink developer and manufacturer, headquartered in Milford, CT. The Company specialises in Direct-To-Garment (DTG) and UV-LED Inkjet inks.
Eastern Tech also launched Firebird Ink at SGIA. For the first time DTG printers can purchase directly from the ink manufacturer. The Firebird White Ink increases the washability of DTG white ink prints, and reduces the amount of heat curing time from 180 seconds to 60 seconds.
