At Viscom Frankfurt (4-6 November 2014), Seiko Instruments’ ColorPainter M-64s was awarded the Viscom Best of 2014 Award in the Large Format Printing category.
The jury justified its decision as, since its introduction to the market, the inkjet printer has become a popular best-seller for indoor and outdoor applications with a high level of customer satisfaction. The possibility for ‘unattended printing’, made possible through simple operation via social networks such as Twitter, were just as impressive as the print speed. That has made the Seiko Instruments’ ColorPainter M-64s a real high-flyer in universal large format printing.
Frank Kühn, Seiko Instruments General Manager said, ‘This prize acknowledges the hard work that our experts and technicians have put into the development and improvement of this digital printer.’ He also said that it shows the commitment and dedication of all certified partners of Seiko Instruments that have positioned ColorPainter M-64s so well in the market.
Another Viscom highlight was Seiko Instruments’ presentation of its latest generation of ColorPainter H-Series. Having ColorPainter H2-104 as a basis, it will run with eco solvent SX-ink and most of ColorPainter M-64s’ path-breaking technology will be implemented to achieve up to now unknown print results in this range. So digital printing experts can look forward to the official product launch of the new ColorPainter H-Series generation at the beginning of 2015.
