SA International (SAi) is celebrating the achievement of 80 million-plus jobs produced in 2016 through the use of its software portfolio, while also marking the 25th anniversary of its Flexi signmaking solution.
The 80 million-plus jobs comprise those undertaken on large format printers and cutters, driven by Flexi signmaking software and EnRoute CAD/CAM software, respectively.
‘Such a staggering number of global jobs in just 12 months is an extraordinary accomplishment for our company and underscores the long-held popularity and continued confidence within the marketplace of our feature-rich software stable,’ said Mark Blundell, CEO, SAi.
‘We also issued over 41,000 software licences last year, of which around half were RIP software licences,’ he added.
As the industry-standard for sign-specific design tools, RIP and print, print-and-cut and direct vinyl cutting, SAi Flexi is found in over 75% of wide format printers.
The success of Flexi saw the launch of the company become the first and only wide format RIP software provider software boasting two companion mobile apps. Working in conjunction with SAi Flexi version 11 and 12, the apps are designed to provide business owners and print shop employees respectively with production-enhancing tools to streamline throughput and reduce production time, from set-up to completion. This is particularly useful to remotely access valuable production information while on the road or away from the office.
