Rookie USA, a retailer in New York City opted for a high-quality LED lighting solution developed by Osram Opto Semiconductors and Phoster Industries.
Installed inside the fixtures from Canadian-based Phoster Industries are energy-efficient Golden Dragon Plus LEDs from German LED-specialist Osram Opto Semiconductors. The lighting concept developed by the two companies combines ideal lighting for the retail area with enormous cost savings of up to 85 percent annually compared to standard incandescent lamps.

The LED lighting used at Rookie USA comprises Phoster LED High Bay Replacement luminaires and Phoster PAR30 LED lamps with Golden Dragon Plus LEDs from Osram Opto Semiconductors inside. The Golden Dragon Plus LEDs are durable and boast a long rated life of more than 50000 hours, as well as a good colour rendering index (CRI) of 85. They can be used in diverse applications, including architectural and room lighting, and retrofit solutions, meaning the replacement of conventional light bulbs.
