ROLAND TO KICK-OFF SECOND LEG OF ROADSHOW IN MAY

Roland DG South Africa will be showcasing its full range of cutting-edge equipment, including the new SolJet Pro 4 XR-640, the company’s largest and fastest printer/cutter, as well as the SOLJET XF-640 High-Speed Inkjet Printer all over South Africa during their 2014 Roadshows.

The 163cm (64 inch) SolJet Pro 4 XR-640 is Roland’s largest and fastest printer/cutter, with production speeds of 21.6sqm/h for both banner and vinyl media in high speed print modes. The machine, which won the Viscom ‘Best of 2012’ award, combines an innovative new print head design and new ECO-SOL MAX2 inks in nine colours: cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK), plus light cyan (Lc), light magenta (Lm), white (Wh), metallic silver (Mt) and new light black (Lk). 

As one of the industry’s most innovative large-format digital printers, Roland’s 163cm (64-inch) XF-640 ushers in a new era of speed, precision and performance. Equipped with the industry’s most advanced dual mirrored print heads, a reinforced chassis, redesigned take-up and pinch roller systems and wide-gamut Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks, this next generation printer delivers vibrant, detailed images at speeds up to (102sqm/hr) 1098 sqft./hr.

Roland will also exhibit the new VersaUV LEF series of bench top UV flatbed printers, that print directly on a vast array of substrates as well as three-dimensional objects ranging from pens and smart phone covers to signs, personalised awards, giftware, promotional items, laptop covers and even guitar bodies.

The Roland 2014 roadshows kicked off at the Sign Africa Regional Expo in Nelspruit, which was held in Mpumalanga, Nelspruit on February 12, 2014 at Emntotweni Arena. The first leg of the roadshow came to a close in Kimberley at the Diamond Pavilion Shopping Centre on the 19th and 20th of March.
