1043

Sign Africa platinum expo sponsor Roland is showcasing a large number of solutions at the Sign Africa Zambia Expo, taking place from 8-9 June at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre.

These include (but are not limited to):

GR-640 (NEW)
Built for professionals and designed to combine, the new GR series integrates with Roland software and print devices, as well as other manufacturers’ software and printers. Featuring Roland’s CAMM-1 technology, GR cutters far exceed the needs of today’s graphics professionals with outstanding media versatility, speed, accuracy, and state-of-the-art cutting features. The CAMM-1 GR series takes cutting productivity, precision and strength to the next level.

LEF-200 (NEW)
With the LEF-200, users can print graphics directly onto items such as smart phone covers and promotional products, with incredible detail and colour. Now featuring an on-board Primer ink option, it’s easier than ever to print onto glass and other unique materials.

SG 540 (NEW)
Part of Roland DG’s next generation TrueVIS family, the SG series is available in 54-inch (SG-540) and 30-inch (SG-300) models, with a host of advanced features and an attractive price point. TrueVIS SG printer/cutters come with two new FlexFire print heads for high efficiency and quality, new cutting technology for increased accuracy and downforce, a Bluetooth-enabled mobile control panel, and four-colour ink options in TrueVIS ink.

EGX-350
With the new EGX-350 desktop engraver, you can easily expand your business by adding valuable personalised items to your product line. The EGX-350 quickly engraves a wide variety of materials right in your sign shop, engraving business or retail store.

EJ-640
With dual staggered print heads, an integrated tri-heater system, rigid industrial design and high-capacity 1-litre ink cartridges available in 4 or 7 colour configurations, the EJ-640 is built for optimum performance and productivity. In a mirrored CMYK ink configuration, the EJ-640 achieves speeds of up 102sqm per hour. The EJ-640 uses new EJ INK, developed to offer substantially lower operating costs. New Roland VersaWorks Dual RIP software processes both PDF and PostScript files, including files with transparencies.

GS-24
The GS-24 desktop cutter’s robust build quality, redesigned cutting carriage and blade holder, 10x overlap cutting capability, and 350g of downforce (a 40 percent increase from its predecessor) allow users to cut a variety of materials from 50 to 700 mm wide – including thick, dense substrates – with ease and accuracy.

LEJ-640
Based on award-winning VersaUV technology, the 64″ LEJ-640 prints CMYK, white and clear coat on virtually any substrate up to a half-inch thick. With the LEJ-640, you can print white on a variety of clear and coloured media for text and graphics that stand out.

MPX-90
Roland’s MPX-90 desktop impact printer is a powerful personalisation device for applications ranging from industrial marking to jewelery engraving. With the ability to imprint both flat and curved surfaces across a wide range of materials, the MPX-90 is Roland’s most versatile impact printer to date.

RF-640
The genius behind the VersaEXPRESS RF-640 four-colour printer is in its ability to produce high quality graphics and prints, while keeping the cost of operation low. In 4-colour configuration, the RT-640 uses Roland’s proprietary Ink Switching System, to automatically switch to the other ink pouch for unattended continuous printing. For even greater efficiency, you can replace an empty pouch without stopping the printer in both ink configurations.

VS 640i
Roland VersaCAMM VS Series – Available in 64-inch, 54-inch or 30-inch models, VS Series printers produce stunning, vibrant graphic results across a wide range of applications, including signs, banners, vehicle graphics and wraps, fine art posters, packaging prototypes, labels, decals, POP displays and apparel heat transfers.
