The 163cm (64 inch) SolJet Pro 4 XR-640 is Roland's largest and fastest printer/cutter, with production speeds of 21.6sqm/h for both banner and vinyl media in high speed print modes. The machine, which won the Viscom 'Best of 2012' award, combines an innovative new print head design and new ECO-SOL MAX2 inks in nine colours: cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK), plus light cyan (Lc), light magenta (Lm), white (Wh), metallic silver (Mt) and new light black (Lk).
As one of the industry's most innovative large-format digital printers, Roland's 163cm (64-inch) XF-640 ushers in a new era of speed, precision and performance. Equipped with the industry's most advanced dual mirrored print heads, a reinforced chassis, redesigned take-up and pinch roller systems and wide-gamut Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks, this next generation printer delivers vibrant, detailed images at speeds up to (102sqm/hr) 1098 sqft./hr.
Also on show is the Roland RF-640 printer that prints up to 48.5sqm/hr, approximately twice as fast as the previous model, and is perfect for banner production. From signs and banners to vehicle graphics and wraps of all kinds, the RF-640 delivers exceptional results throughout the longest production runs.
Roland is also exhibiting the new VersaUV LEF series of bench top UV flatbed printers, that prints directly on a vast array of substrates as well as three-dimensional objects ranging from pens and smart phone covers to signs, personalised awards, giftware, promotional items, laptop covers and even guitar bodies.
