FESPA Africa and Sign Africa Platinum sponsor, Roland, will showcase the new Texart RT-640, ARM-10 3D Additive Rapid Prototyping Machine, VersaEXPRESS RF-640 and CAMM-1 GS-24 at FESPA Africa and Sign Africa, taking place from 22-24 July at Gallagher Convention Centre. The company will also showcase its full range of leading products at the event.

Product highlights include:

TEXART RT-640

Developed specifically for textiles, the RT-640 provides superb quality, vivid colouring and highly stable performance. The RT-640 can add value to your business through a wide range of applications including apparels, signs, interior décors, and original goods. The RT-640 with Roland’s new Texart ink delivers bold and vibrant colours, deep and rich blacks, subtle gradations and remarkable fine detail. With the addition of Orange and Violet ink, the Texart ink offers a broader range of colours, enabling vivid printing with high contrast.

VERSAEXPRESS RF-640

The RF-640 prints up to 48.5sqm/hr, approximately twice as fast as the previous model, and is perfect for banner production. From signs and banners to vehicle graphics and wraps of all kinds, the RF-640 delivers exceptional results throughout the longest production runs. With the RF-640, Roland redesigned the take-up system for high speed volume production. Two rigid shafts hold heavy rolls in place for reliably accurate media feeding. A new dancer roller assembly applies just the right level of tension to move media precisely through the printer.

ARM-10 3D Additive Rapid Prototyping Machine

The ARM-10 3D printer is most suitable for quickly checking a design in the initial stage of prototyping or modeling a complex shape. Incorporating a stereo-lithography process with a UV-LED projection system, the ARM-10 builds models by sequentially curing layers of resin from a liquid resin vat. Simultaneous production of multiple objects can be accomplished within the same work area to reduce modeling time in comparison with methods where lasers expose specific areas. Roland’s imageCure resin becomes semi-transparent when cured and post-processing procedures such as support removal and polishing are simple to do.

CAMM-1 GS-24

The GS-24’s robust build quality, redesigned cutting carriage and blade holder, 10x overlap cutting capability, and 350g of downforce (a 40 percent increase from its predecessor) allow users to cut a variety of materials from 2 to 610mm wide, including thick, dense substrates with ease and accuracy. Equipped with a powerful, durable digital servomotor, the GS-24 is built for optimum efficiency, versatility and productivity. It’s capable of cutting vinyl, paint mask, twill, heat transfers, magnetic materials and card stock.
