Roland Exhibiting Latest Printing Solutions At Sign Africa East London Expo

Sign Africa platinum expo sponsor Roland’s East London distributor, Digital Intention, will showcase a variety of its latest solutions at the Sign Africa East London Expo, taking place on 15 February at the East London ICC.

VERSAUV LEF-20

The LEF-20 allows you to print directly on virtually any substrate or dimensional object and comes with advanced ECO-UV® inks in CMYK, white and clear formulations. Designed for flexibility, ECO-UV inks image beautifully and conform around the most complex corners and curves. Clear ink can be layered into gloss or matte finishes for unique embossing and varnishing effects. White ink can be printed as a spot colour or as a flood behind CMYK to make colours pop on dark backgrounds or clear materials such as acrylic.

TRUEVIS VG-640

The VG-640 features TrueVIS INK, available in 4-colour (CMYK), 7-colour (CMYKLcLmLk) or 7-colour plus White (CMYKLcLmLk+Wh), delivers exceptional quality in cost-effective 500cc pouches, with reusable cartridges. In dual 4-colour ink configuration, the Roland Ink Switching System automatically switches to the backup ink pouch when the primary pouch runs out.

TEXART XT-640

Specially designed for high-volume textile production environments, the product offers customers a total dye-sublimation solution. Specially-formulated Texart SBL3 dye-sublimation inks and premium-quality Texart Sublimation Transfer Paper work hand-in-hand with Texart printers to optimise sublimation output while keeping costs to a minimum.

SOLJET EJ-640

The Soljet EJ-640 large format printer has dual staggered printheads, an integrated tri-heater system, and 1litre ink cartridges. In a mirrored CMYK ink configuration, the EJ-640 can achieve speeds of up to 102sqm/h. The printer uses ink developed alongside the machine for what Roland calls ‘substantially lower operating costs for high-volume and long-run print jobs’. It is accompanied by Roland VersaWorks Dual RIP software for the ability to process PDF and PostScript files natively.
