Roland DG Corporation has elected Eli Keersmaekers as executive officer, reporting to the Board of Directors. Keersmaekers will continue in his roles of president of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, reporting to Group HQ, as well as CEO of Roland DG Benelux N.V.
In his new role, Keersmaekers will oversee sales of all Roland DG products throughout the EMEA region. The announcement comes as Roland DG continues its GlobalOne plan designed to strengthen the corporation’s leadership positions in markets worldwide. Headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan, the company’s extensive product line provides creative professionals with advanced digital technologies, including wide-format inkjet printers, vinyl cutters, engravers, 3D rapid prototyping equipment, dental mills and impact printers.
Bob Curtis, senior executive director of Roland DG said, ‘I have had the pleasure of working with Eli for several years now. I am excited to have him join our GlobalOne team as an executive officer reporting to the Board of Directors as we build on the successful integration of Roland DG worldwide.’

Keersmaekers joined DG Benelux N.V. in 2002 as CFO, was named CEO in 2006 and joined the Roland DG Senior Executive Committee. In 2013, he was appointed president of the EMEA region. He previously served as chairman of the European Executive Committee and, more recently, as chairman of the International Marketing Committee.
