Regma South Africa’s large format reusable core adaptors are made of durable plastic that fits onto inkjet media rolls wound on to 7.62cm to fit on to 5.08cm (3”cores to fit on to 2”) core spindles. The user simply inserts the adaptors onto the ends of the 7.62cm to make them 5.08cm (3”core to make them 2”).
Regma introduced the adaptors for large format inkjet printers as they have a spindle that holds the roll of media in place when printing. The spindles come in two sizes: 5.08cm and 7.62cm (2 inches and 3 inches). The ‘core’ of a roll of inkjet media is the cardboard cylinder upon which the media is rolled.
