Paul Moeller & Co has expanded its product line with self-adhesive tapes and films from Italian company, Cartongraf, as well as self-adhesive film and digital print media from German company, X-Film.
Cartongraf specialises in the development and production of self-adhesive tapes and films for the packaging and printing industries. The company’s printable tapes are primarily used for carton-sealing applications. The adhesive films portfolio includes films for cutting plotters, graphic films for labeling, advertising and decoration applications and special films for digital printing.
X-Film, which was acquired by Cartongraf, provides certified self-adhesive film and digital print media that are sustainable due to the use of solvent-free adhesives and uses high-quality resources produced in Germany and Europe.
‘Our clients will notice further clarity and enhanced graphic images when printing on any Cartongraf media. With the products being of a snow white complexion, this is easily noticeable,’ said Dean du Plessis, Paul Moeller & Co. ‘Another benefit is ease of application. The Cartongraf series has been modified to include a double siliconated backing paper, assisting in the separation of film and encouraging media flow when printing. Print and cut is possible on both the 80micron and 100micron Cartongraf series, due to the enhanced TAC adhesion, which is present in all Cartongraf products. The media is compatible with UV, Latex, eco solvent and solvent printing.’
‘Numerous tests were carried out before a final decision could be made regarding the Cartongraf and X-FILM range. Durability, shrinkage, compatibility and overall print quality was addressed over a period of time. We strive to supply our clients with excellent products that work and Cartongraf and X-FILM meet this criteria,’ he added.
