The new Ruby range launches with premium quality and fast-curing roll-to-roll UV inks designed for a wide range of flexible applications, including self-adhesive media. The inks perform well in a demanding, high speed printing environment with enhanced scuff and chemical resistance.
Ruby’s superior colour gamut delivers bright and vivid images with good gloss levels. The UV-curable inks are free from N-vinyl caprolactam (NVC), feature improved stretchability, produce low odour and comply to the latest regulatory standards.
NUtec Technical and Operations Director, Paul Geldenhuys stated, ‘There are many advantages to choosing UV LED over conventional curing, including: wider substrate choices as UV LED offers a cooler cure, lower energy consumption and reduced heat output.
