Cape Town Based company, NUtec Digital Printing Ink, successfully launched their Aquamarine AQ10-DS ink at FESPA Brazil.
Neil Green, Marketing Director of NUtec, said that the interest generated at FESPA was very encouraging, resulting in immediate orders being generated through their extensive distributor network in that country. ‘Brazil has a huge textile market that we are targeting in order to establish NUtec as the preferred dye sublimation ink supplier.’
In addition, the AQ10-DS product is being launched in other strategic regions around the world as part of NUtec’s global roll out plan for this exciting new product.
NUtec have acquired additional facilities in Cape Town to house the specialist pigment and water based ink manufacturing plant to cope with local as well as the global demand which Green said is gaining significant momentum.
‘We are also taking the South African market seriously with our AQ10-DS ink as there is feedback from customers which suggests that our product is equal to, and is potentially even better, than our main international competitors,’ said Green.
NUtec’s AQ10-DS dye sublimation inks will be showcased alongside their regular solvent and UV cured inks at the upcoming FESPA Africa show at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg in July this year.
