NUtec Digital Ink has achieved GREENGUARD Gold accreditation for select products within its Amethyst UV-curable roll-to-roll and rigid ink ranges, certifying them for use in schools and healthcare facilities.
The GREENGUARD Gold certification standard is the highest level achievable for health-based chemical emissions criteria, requiring lower total volatile organic compounds (VOC) emission levels, and ensuring that products are acceptable for use in sensitive environments.
NUtec Digital Ink’s Amethyst A20-RTR UV-curable inks for roll-to-roll printing and its Amethyst A20-RIG UV-curable inks for rigid media have recently been tested by UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, and have been approved for GREENGUARD Gold status.
