Mutoh Europe nv has won a Buyers Lab (BLI) 2024 Pick Award from Keypoint Intelligence for its XpertJet 1682SR PRO model and MS51 sign and display inks.
‘The Mutoh XpertJet 1682SR Pro delivered seriously good results in many areas of our rigorous test programme,’ said David Sweetnam, Keypoint Intelligence’s Director of EMEA/Asia Research and Lab Services. ‘The dual CMYK printhead setup delivered the fastest speeds we ever saw in this class of product. What’s more, the device maintains strong output quality while running in these highly productive speeds, with the largest colour gamut we have seen to date on CMYK-only ink devices. The large working colour space aided impressive halftone image reproduction and accurate spot colour-matching results, with 15 challenging corporate logos rendered with an average variance of only DeltaE 4.0.’
