MIPS Technologies displayed its Mutoh innovations and more at the Sign Africa and FEPSA Africa Expo, held at Gallagher Convention Centre from 13-15 September.

The Mutoh DrafStation RJ-900XG printer: ideal for both startup and established businesses, its typical dye sublimation applications are soft signage and graphics for events and tradeshows, home decoration, flags and pennants, sports goods and apparel. Using dye and pigmented inks, the printer is also suited for the production of high quality graphics for indoor and short term outdoor use.
The Mutoh ValueJet 1604WX, also ideal for both startup and established businesses, is compact, budget friendly and suited for daily sublimation needs. Easy to operate and maintain, the machine is environmentally friendly and features a high level of operator safety.
The Mutoh ValueJet 1324X solvent print sign and display printer, which is easy to install, operate and maintain, uses Mutoh Eco Ultra and UMS inks. Experienced as well as beginner sign makers will enjoy worry-free printing. The machine is suited for the production of long term outdoor prints on a wide range of uncoated and coated substrates: posters, backlit signage, wall coverings, point-of-sale displays, vehicle graphics, stickers and much more.
Also on display was the Summa D140 cutter, renowned for its versatility of applications, as well as the MT 120 oil heat press.
