MIPS Technologies will exhibit its range of Mutoh solutions, including a new addition, at the upcoming Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, taking place from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre.
The new Mutoh XpertJet 1641SR is a 4-colour ink set (CMYK) single head model that offers an ideal balance of performance, image quality and an affordable price range. The new platform from Mutoh has been renewed with an updated modern look, featuring a sleek black design as well as added features to enhance the user experience and output quality.
Mutoh’s unique ‘multi-stage pressurising mechanism’ enhances media feed stability for various media by selecting the mode such as ‘high’ for slippery media, ‘default (middle)’ for standard PVC sheets and synthetic papers, and ‘low’ for thin and soft media. Furthermore, media cockling can be minimised by cancelling multiple pressure rollers individually.

Mutoh DraftStation RJ-900XG prints on typical > 95g/sqm dye sublimation transfer papers, making transfer onto all possible flexible and rigid polyester materials possible.

The Mutoh ValueCut 1300 cutter delivers a cutting width of 1320mm (52”). The ValueJet VJ-626UF is a 6-colour (CMYK, white and varnish) desktop A2-size flatbed LED UV printer with integrated vacuum bed, offering a media size of 594mm (23.39”) x 483mm (19”). Media thickness is automatically measured. The VJ-626UF allows direct printing on a wide variety of flexible and solid materials up to 150 mm thick.
