Mimaki will exhibit its full product portfolio of solvent and UV printers and cutting tables, including indoor and outdoor signage and industrial, packaging and promotional products.

Mimaki will be exhibiting solutions that serve a wide range of market needs at drupa 2016, taking place from May 31 to June 10 in Düsseldorf.

Mike Horsten, General Manager Marketing EMEA at Mimaki Europe said, ‘We are especially excited about bringing the new 110sqm/h 3.2m wide UJV55-320 printer to drupa. This printer was just launched at FESPA Digital and at least 30 units were sold during that show. We expect drupa attendees to be equally impressed with the product. But our exhibit won’t stop there Our experts will be on hand to walk visitors through the portfolio elements that are most likely to bring them revenue when added to their production platforms. And we’ll have lots of outstanding examples of output from the various printers and cutting tables. So there will be something for everyone on Mimaki’s stand.’

Mimaki will also be showing:
• UJF-7151plus flatbed printer for direct printing on various substrates at the very highest, industrial production level of quality.
• UJF-6042 flatbed printer and the smaller desktop UV-LED printers UJF-3042HG and UJF-3042FX.
• High-performance flatbed printers JFX500-2131 and JFX200-2513, and the UJV500-160 UV roll to roll industrial printer.
• Solvent-based production printers JV150-160 and JV300-160 as well as the print and cut solutions CJV300-160 and CJV150-75.

Horsten added, ‘We believe visitors will also find value in the CFL-605RT flatbed cutting plotter, which is ideal for use with the UJF-6042 flatbed printer for a print-and-cut solution for the creation of packaging samples and mock-ups as well as short runs of personalised or one-of-a-kind products.’

Another unique solution from Mimaki that will be on display is its Kebab option, which can be used with the UJF-3042HG and the UJF-6042 for 360-degree direct UV printing on cylindrical objects ranging from 30mm to 330mm in length and 10mm to 110mm in diameter. ‘This is always a show-stopper for us,’ Horsten commented. ‘Visitors are always surprised at how easy the Kebab option makes it for printing operations to personalise or customise promotional products for a high-value-add revenue stream.’

In addition, an outstanding variety of application examples will be displayed, ranging from retail and point-of-purchase signage to promotional products, such as printing on pens and iPhone covers. Visitors to the stand will also be able to see samples produced using Mimaki’s market leading inks and discuss with an expert about which inks are best suited to their specific applications, including the Orange, Light Black and Silver inks available to certain printers that extend the print gamut and affordably add metallic effects.
