Mimaki Engineering Co., Ltd. has launched the UJF-6042, which supports A2 size and 150 mm height and enhances image quality with a high precision conveyance mechanism and a higher resolution print mode.
The printer has a more precise and more vivid image quality with the following three functions: a ball screw-type head conveyance mechanism which enhances the accuracy of the ink drop placement onto the substrate.; a higher resolution print mode 1800 x 1800 dpi; and a variable dot with the minimum size of 4pl, which enables a smoother gradation.
Near-photo quality
Along with the enhancement of the printing resolution and the accuracy of the ink drop onto the substrate, a variable dot with the minimum size of 4pl is incorporated, enabling near-photo image quality.
Upsized
The larger flatbed enables printing on two facing pages of the A2 size photo album.
Various media uses
The UV ink is printable on various kinds of substrates, including coated paper, cast-coated paper, leather, acrylic, wood, and metal.

The UJF-6042 inherits several state-of-the-art functions from UJF-3042 series.
