The company launched the JFX500-2131 at drupa. The printer can output up to 60sqm/hr in four-colour mode or 50sqm/hr with white ink thanks to new print-heads. The JFX500-2131 delivers highly detailed printing down to 2pt characters.

The large-sized flatbed (2,100mm x 3,100mm) enables direct printing on a wide range of materials up to a 100mm high. The UV-LED curing unit ensures significantly improved curing-efficiency – high-speed printing is now possible without leaving uncured ink behind. And there’s a wide choice of hard or flexible inks to suit every job.

The system also uses eco-friendly, energy-saving, longer-lasting LEDs and almost no VOCs are generated by UV-curing printing. The printing process is also more efficient, as larger-sized substrates can be used.

Other new products on the company’s stand was the new JV400-SUV inkjet printer with solvent UV ink, the Easy Direct Print System for automatic misalignment adjustment, and pre-cut speciality label solutions. The UJF-3042HG print-and-cut machine was also showcased. The new JV400-LX wide-format printer, the only machine on the market to offer white latex ink, demonstrated its ability to print window graphics.
