Midcomp will showcase the HP Stitch S500 and S1000 printers at the upcoming Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, taking place from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre.
Features include continuous high-quality prints with transfer paper and a direct-to fabric feature. Direct-to-fabric printing is intended for short runs only ( i.e. <5000 linear metres).
The HP Stitch S500 162.5cm (64 inch) printer enables predictable dye sublimation colour and less media waste for production environments. With symmetrical 2 x CMYK printhead configuration and Optical Media Advance Sensor, this printer allows for saturated and reliable one pass mode for true top speed. It was designed for high production sites.
The HP Stitch S1000 is much wider at 320cm (126 inch). The portfolio of HP Stitch S Series printers couple HP Thermal Inkjet technology with industry-standard dyes for superior colour durability. The first-ever built-in spectrophotometer enables Stitch’s fast and exact colour-matching.
