Midcomp has reported the installation of an HP Latex 335 1.6m wide print and cut system at Sebenza Signs. The system is designed for printing indoor and outdoor materials. It delivers print jobs fast, using healthier Latex water-based inks, and produces durable, scratch-resistant prints comparable to hard-solvent inks.
The company’s Lariska Marais explained, ‘The HP Latex 335 printer is an absolute dream machine. Its user-friendly interface allows you to quickly grasp the technical set-up, with minimal downtime from installation to first print run. It can handle large and continuous prints with the same ease as smaller intricate prints on a wide variety of substrates – a great all-rounder for all sizes of organisations. The machine is a fairly quiet operator that is a great attribute, as it can be placed anywhere without much noise disturbance to staff. Marais explained that the company was initially skeptical about the Latex technology, but were pleasantly surprised with the speed, quality and durability of the prints.
