Midcomp Consumables Exhibits Proudly South African Materials At Sign Africa Expo

Visitors at the Sign Africa Expo, which ran from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre, could visit the Midcomp Consumables stand where knowledgable company representatives educated visitors on the company’s world-class specialty rigid, textile and vinyl products.

The consumables feature versatile applications, maximum safety ratings, advanced technologies and sustainability. Visitors could also learn more about the company’s locally manufactured CorreXtreme and PolyXtreme rigid substrates.

Midcomp Consumables is proud to supply the printing and packaging industry with the CorreXtreme range, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The range is supplied by the first plastic manufacturer in South Africa to successfully extrude twin wall polypropylene, which was modified to create a superior flat surface for printing.

PolyXtreme, a new ABS alternative available in semi-gloss, non-reflective and prismatic finishes, is ideal for outdoor signage and is available in various thicknesses. Proudly manufactured in South Africa, the material features excellent impact strength and thermal properties, and is fully compatible with Latex and UV printers. It is also easy to recycle and process, and is available in pallets of up to 400 sheets.

Other locally manufactured products include MCDP – White Gazebo Textile and MCFLS – Flag Silverback Gazebo Textile.

Additionally, visitors could learn more about the company’s extensive range of Drytac and HP products, specifically Drytac Retac 150 vinyl and Drytac Retac linen/canvas, as well as HP Vital Gloss vinyl, HP Vital Matt vinyl and HP Gloss Greyback vinyl.
