New ImagePerfect 2578PA 2D Wrap SuperGlide is a permanent product for indoor and outdoor applications, such as markings, decorations and vehicle graphics, including partial or full vehicle wraps with compound curves and moderate (2D, single-step) recesses that would otherwise dictate the use of a more expensive product.
The thin, supersoft print film has been engineered to promote flexibility and conformability. It also offers high levels of post-application stability and high levels of print quality with remarkable text definition and a large colour gamut to ensure colourful images with vibrant area in-fills.
The film incorporates SuperGlide technology, a specially-engineered, permanent adhesive that has an exceptionally low level of initial tack (with high final adhesion) and a corresponding high level of ‘glideability’ on a wide variety of substrates such as glass, ABS, PS and PVC, even in the presence of surface indentations. This allows for the very easy positioning and repositioning of the graphics on the substrate by a single person, even in the case of large-scale installs that would otherwise require two people. This is facilitated by the fact that releasing the film from the liner does not create strong static properties in the film and which would otherwise present issues with product application. Albeit permanent, IP 2578PA 2D Wrap SuperGlide offers long-term removability (facilitated by heat, when required).
PerfectApply technology allows for easy positioning and bubble-free application. The film has been created for digital printing on large format inkjet printers and is suitable for printing with eco solvent and solvent inks as well as UV-cured and latex inks. It also incorporates PerfectApply technology to further increase the initial repositionability and to facilitate bubble-free application. It is equipped with a backing paper that offers excellent lay flat properties. Because of its grey adhesive system, IP 2578PA 2D Wrap SuperGlide also offers excellent opacity with no risk of substrate show-through.
New ImagePerfect 2810-105
This is a match-component vinyl laminate to be used in conjunction with ImagePerfect 2578PA 2D Wrap and IP 2578PA 2D Wrap SuperGlide, for use in fleet and vehicle applications with 2D, single-step recesses. The high-end, supersoft laminate incorporates a special 50mym film. This special laminate will provide high levels of flexibility and conformability in application and high levels of clarity in use.
New ImagePerfect Opal Frost 7801
This monomeric, transparent and matt calendered vinyl has a permanent, solvent-based adhesive. It is used for decorative window installations, both cut graphics and printed graphics.
It is suitable for use on a wide variety of clean, dry surfaces. It is primarily used as a decorative window film to create an etched (engraved) effect on windows or glass panels in architectural enhancement and advertising/display installations in locations such as retail environments and lifestyle business environments (bars, hotels, restaurants, casinos, theatres, etc).
It can also be used for glass conspicuity for personal safety in locations with high footfall, such as shopping centres and educational establishments. The specially-formulated and flexible film has consistent matt levels and it can be cut easily and weeded quickly. The high-quality, PE-coated liner further promotes excellent lay flat, cutting and weeding characteristics.
The permanent, solvent-based adhesive creates a strong final bond to ensure a secure and durable finish. For digital conversion, it is compatible with eco solvent, solvent, latex and UV-cured inks, and will deliver high levels of print quality. When printed, because of the crystal effect in the film, it will not produce dark tones with as much regularity as would be the case when a ‘standard’ monomeric film is otherwise printed. Before production, to ensure suitability, a print test is recommended. In application, the film will absorb 14.0% of visible light and transmit 86.0% of visible light.
