Midcomp is the textile print sponsor for the Sign Africa and FESPA Africa Expo, which will run from 11-13 September at Gallagher Convention Centre, from 9am-5pm.
The textiles for the event will be printed using Midcomp’s HP Latex 2700W, using its own Viking brand of textiles.
The HP Latex 2700W printer offers white ink at printing speeds of up to 54sqm/hr (581 square feet/hr), allowing PSPs to produce high-margin applications on pre-coloured and transparent media. Automatic ink recirculation and white printheads that can be stored in an offline rotating chamber eliminate waste between white jobs.
Viking textiles are suitable for numerous applications such as gazebos/umbrellas, A-frames, banners and backwalls. They are also suitable for Latex, UV and eco-solvent printing. Additional features include certified two year outdoor durability with Latex printing, consistent product pricing, as well as consistent and quick stock availability.
Live demonstrations will be run on the HP Latex 2700W printer at the Midcomp expo booth, and Viking textile samples will be on display at the Midcomp Consumables booth.
