Able to withstand elevated temperatures, Xerox M Series printheads are ideal for industrial applications such as additive manufacturing, 3D printing and robotic decoration, particularly when high-viscosity fluids are required. Additionally, a stainless-steel faceplate and relatively simple construction make the printhead well-suited for pharmaceutical and food applications.
Building on the success of driving Xerox W Series printheads, Meteor’s new HDC-XM solution for the M Series enables OEMs to fully exploit the capabilities of these printheads which are already widely used for additive manufacturing. Coupled with Meteor software for system control, print job creation and image quality enhancement, OEMs can significantly reduce the time and effort associated with the design and delivery of industrial inkjet systems.
Targeted for availability in Q1 2025, Xerox and Meteor are committed to ensuring smooth integration through comprehensive customer support. Jonathan Wilson, Meteor’s Vice President of Business Development commented, ‘Since 2019, Meteor has collaborated with Xerox on driving W Series printheads and we are excited to expand our support to encompass the entire Xerox printhead portfolio with the addition of the M Series. This partnership helps to unlock high-viscosity capability for print system builders while providing access to independent hardware and software solutions.’
Craig Greenwood, Senior Sales Executive, Xerox OEM Printheads added, ‘Our strategic collaboration with Meteor enhances hardware and software compatibility for the Xerox M Series and streamlines workflows for businesses across various sectors, including 3D, additive manufacturing, direct-to-shape and automation.’
