Metamark MD5, a high performance grade polymeric calendered self-adhesive vinyl, was used in a signage project for a cake business.
When The Original Cake Co. found itself in need of signage, it was Venture Signs that got the call. The company wanted a sign of some substance for its internal reception area and something durable and legible for the building’s exterior to make the place the company’s own. Venture Signs’ customer had its logo sorted so it was largely an exercise in quality manufacturing and installation for the Venture Signs’ team.
The reception area was treated to an arrangement of wall-mounted acrylic lettering, 5mm thick, mounted on stand-offs that anchor the elements visually with just the right balance of shadow. The arrangement’s layout is millimetre perfect and it radiates class and quality while counterpointing its surroundings.
The exterior signage comprises a dimensional pan fabricated from cut, folded and welded aluminium with no raw edges visible to detract from the quality on display in Venture Signs’ work. The pan is wrapped in printed and laminated Metamark MD5 and it’s a masterful demonstration of technique.
