Metamark Media Used For School's Wall Graphics Project

Southampton based Pineapple Graphics delivered some inspirational wall graphics to a new school in London.

The job presented by the school to Pineapple Graphics involved the design, printing and installations of wall graphics reflecting content, such as expressions of human values and inspiring figures from recent history, which the school supplied. David Richardson from Pineapple Graphics surveyed the site in person and returned to base with his findings and some creative ideas ripe for development.

The ensuing days saw the team at Pineapple grounding the design elements of the job working with the data the school supplied and imposing the proposed creative works over Richardson’s survey data. The school contributed some editorial input to the exercise and, a few iterations later, a range of designs was agreed.

Pineapple Graphics uses HP Latex printers and turned to Metamark MDU from Metamark to produce the mural-like wall graphics. MetaGrab® features a novel adhesive that adheres well to walls, sealed block and brickwork and even to low energy plastics. The film is part of Metamark’s MD-Class digital media portfolio so print quality is never in question – an important consideration when the job is all about colour and inspiration.
