UK-based Marshall and Hicks have provided T&C Services, a plumbing and maintenance business, with van liveries regularly over the years and recently got to grips with one returning for the second time. The company used Metalmark wrapping material to give the well-used working van a new look.
The wrap’s design features characters arranged on a background drawn and digitised by the Marshall and Hicks team. The design went through a couple of iterations before the customer gave it the thumbs-up and production could proceed.
The design features expansive fields of faded colours in transition and works really well in dominating the available space on the van. The print is flawless with the soft gradiations being free of any artefacts that would otherwise detract from the design.
The team at Marshall and Hicks elected to use Metamark’s MD-X wrapping film for the job and the MD-Class wrapping media has played its part well in faithfully delivering the ‘pop’ that carries the colour so well. Every detail is sharp and it’s all protected with a tough layer of MD-X’s matching MetaGuard laminate, MG-X.
The finished job is a great advert for Marshall and Hicks’ skills. As campers go, this one is a real head-turner and its happy owner and passengers can look forward to a lot of finger-pointing and admiring looks when they take to the road.
