RoadX Tyre used D-Sign Studio’s services for its vehicles. Metamark’s MetaCast MDC premium cast digital film, featuring the superior handling MetaGlide adhesive was used, along with MetaCast MDC’s matching cast MetaGuard Laminate – a cast wrap film overlaminate.
D-Sign Studio’s Jonathan Dudley performed the fine tweaks so that it would fit the target vehicle properly and then print and fit the graphics. It ended up being a head-turner that brilliantly promotes the interests of D-Signs’ client.
Under the livery is a white vehicle, now covered in Metamark’s next-generation premium cast wrapping film – MetaCast MDC. The wrap comprises discrete, printed MDC elements where solid colour falls. The areas of the van where the detail sits in a field of white have been treated differently using a technique that is both clever and creative.
Detail in the white areas was printed on MetaCast MDC’s matching cast MetaGuard Laminate – a cast wrap film overlaminate. This was subsequently laminated in a second MetaGuard layer, encapsulating the ink between two transparent layers. This assemble was then fitted to the vehicle – creating poppy-looking graphics in a field of white comprising the vehicle’s own paint.
