Metamark MD5-B was used in a project by OPG, a sign and fleet graphics producer headquartered in Scotland, to brand trucks for Greggs.
Greggs’ relationship with OPG has its basis in the OPG design team working with Greggs’ creative people to leverage the company’s assets and achieve the impact that sustains the powerful brand. Once OPG’s design flats and press proofs are approved by Greggs, OPG is commissioned to wrap its Greggs fleet vehicles, including its 15.6m longer semis and refrigerated trucks.
Both Greggs and OPG take environmental stewardship very seriously and, for some time, OPG has been using HP hardware running substantially water-based, fade-resisting Latex inks. OPG is a recognised HP Trained Printing Company also recognised for its colour management expertise as a GMG Colour Management House. This all has a very positive impact when it comes to examining results.
So too does the specification of Metamark materials for Greggs’ liveries. The liveries are printed on Metamark MD5-B one of Metamark’s MD-Class digital print media. The distinctive matte lustre finish Greggs chooses is imparted by the MD5-B’s matching MG-702 laminate. This proven media-hardware partnership showcases the potency of Greggs’ creative and OPG’s skills brilliantly.
