Maizey Plastics Reports A Successful FESPA Africa Exhibit

Maizey Plastics exhibited at the very first FESPA Africa, hosted at the Gallagher Convention Centre in, Johannesburg from 2-4 July 2014. The company’s exhibition stand covered a floor space of 126sqm and showcased a range of innovative products from world-leading suppliers to the signage, digital and graphics industries.

Maizey has long-standing relationships with their supplier partners and their valued support with international representation on the Maizey stand was positively received by both staff and customers. CoSign, Poli-Tape and Rowmark representatives provided delegates with tips on international trends and, where required, valuable technical knowledge.

Product Displays Included:
• Rowmark Engraving Laminates.
• SpiritFlex/SpiritTex Tensioning systems for flexible substrates like PVS and textiles.
• POP products including OK LED’s for signage and displays, Kwik-Klik aluminium poster frames, light boxes, a selection of different style banner stands and LumiLED Ultra-thin, edge illuminated lightboxes.
• CoSign modular directional signage and way-finding solutions.
• GrafiWrap Self adhesive vinyls for vehicle branding or full wrap applications.
• An exciting new range of substrates for Flatbed Digital Printing.
• M-Jet Digital Print Media for roll-to-roll solutions.
• Poli-Tape Heat Transfer Vinyls for T-shirt and textile decoration.

Maizey launched new substrates for flatbed printing, which were positively welcomed by customers. They also re-launched the Kedar system and Elegance Frame from SpiritFlex.

On the Rowmark booth, international representative Carlos Sousa performed live demonstrations on an EGX-350 engraving machine supplied by Telpro/Roland (the leading supplier of large digital print production solutions). The demonstrations were aimed at showing visitors the best engraving techniques for Rowmark Engraving Laminates.

Maizey Plastics’ in-house vehicle wrapping expert, Robbie Lambe, demonstrated vehicle wrapping techniques on the Grafityp booth. Visitors benefitted from all the user-friendly tips and tricks shown during these hands-on sessions. The new LumiLED Ceiling panels from the architectural division proved to be a real show-stopper and Maizey sees huge potential for these products in the interior design and architectural industries.

Maizey Plastics was also awarded the Best MEGA Stand Award at the expo.
